The reason for my silence ....

I haven't been writing for a while and this has been due in part to a very busy schedule running up to Easter and then also the upcoming induction and AGM. That is not indicative, however, that nothing has been happening and in fact the opposite is true. A lot has transpired in the last two months, especially in the light of our eventual move to Woodlands and merger with the Woodlands Christ Church congregations. I am not today going to write about it as yet, but will address some of the other interesting things that have been keeping me occupied.

Did I Marry The Right Person?

During one of our seminars, a woman asked a common question. She said, "How do I know if I married the right person?" I noticed that there was a large man sitting next to her so I said, "It depends. Is that your husband?" In all seriousness, she answered "How do you know?"

Kingdom of David (1)

Kingdom of David: The Saga of the Israelites tells the epic story of the Jews and the creation of the world's first and most profoundly influential monotheistic religion. The stories of the patriarch Abraham, the liberator Moses, the poet-king David and his son Solomon all come to life in the dramatic tale of loss and triumph that shaped humanity's basic moral struggle for more than three millennia.
